The main diety of the temple is Dharmasastha (Ayyappan) believed to be in the form of balasastha facing east. However, as per devaprasnas the deity can be worshipped also as “grihasthasrami”, ie., Prabha-sathyaka sametha as per the liking of the devotee. There are three poojas and evening deeparadhana to Ayyappan daily.
There exists Bhagavathy with equal importance in the form of Bhadrakali in a separate shrine at the eisana cone (North-East place) facing west. Bhadralaki has 2 poojas daily, one in the morning and one in the evening. Ganapathy and Siva believed to be Dakshinamoorthy are also present in a subshrine at the Kannimoola of the temple, ie., at the South-West part of Chuttambalam (inner round)
